We are pleased to introduce you to the five operating divisions that make up Lone Oak Ranch. Each entity is an integral part of ranching operations and was born of our commitment to the land and animals that we serve.
Lone Oak Cattle Company Certified Brucellosis Free Herd
Whether you are raising cattle or planting a stand of winter oats... the formula for success is the same. Start with the finest seed stock available. Lone Oak Cattle Company features the best of registered and commercial Brangus cattle. We start with offspring of large framed females with excellent conformation and documented mothering capabilities. At 20 months of age we introduce them to genetically superior 24 month old herd bulls, which are calved and then carefully nurtured to breeding age in special pastures at Lone Oak Ranch. Male and female calves are identified, appropriately treated, and inoculated early in their lives. They are closely monitored on both an individual and daily basis by experienced Lone Oak Ranch personnel. We maintain reasonable stocking rates and practice rotational pasturing on each ranch. We mill our own feed rations and provide balanced nutrition to meet chaging calendar demands. Lone Oak Cattle Company will have upwards of twenty quality breeding age bulls and a limited number of replacement heifers for sale each year. We annually sell a select number of our mature bulls who have been used in each facet of our breeding program and will not be re-entered for in-breeding reasons.
While agriculture and the raising of beef cattle is our principal business, family values are the backbone of our various operations. We believe that hard work and honest sweat are the building blocks of a person's character and that a man's greatest possession is his dignity and that no calling bestows this more abundantly than ranching.

Lone Oak Land Company
Lone Oak Land Company is an experienced real estate brokerage operation, specializing in farm, ranch and recreational properties. The company is also recognized as a leader in selection of large commercial properties of a retail nature. Our senior broker has over 40 years of experience in the business, and the man who heads up our wildlife operation is a graduate wildlife biologist. We have found that rural real estate involves a relatively large amount of money, which changes hands based more on emotion than any other single factor. Unlike commercial real estate transactions where return on investment, cash flow and market opportunity are all important... rural Property is often bought on eye appeal alone. Unlike residential Property where location, school district, size of the home and number of bedrooms are all important.... rural Property is usually bought when both husband and wife as buyers can come to terms on particular features of any one tract that are important to either of them, and when the property price falls within their budget. Good rural Property, when fairly priced sells easily and quickly. Accordingly, it makes sense to concentrate on only good and fairly priced properties.
We would like to believe the best things in life are indeed free: the splendor of a sunrise, the rapture of open spaces, the exhilarating sight of land greening each spring. We believe that true happiness comes from watching young calves frolic in the fields, children growing tall in the sun, and a whole family feeling the pride that springs from shared experiences.
For that reason, in most instances we act as buyer's brokers, that is we represent the buying side of a transaction. We know good property and appropriate pricing. A broker becomes a buyer's agent by entering into a written agreement to represent the buyer. A buyer's broker will place the interests of his buyer first. A seller's broker on the other hand, must place the interest of the seller first. A buyer's broker has the obligation to assist the buyer in obtaining the best property for the buyer's use at the very best price. Based upon the extent of his experience and knowledge, a buyer's broker can often save many dollars and hours of time for his client. A buyer working under a buyer's representation agreement has the obligation to see that the buyer's broker is paid his fee, as agreed. Lone Oak Land Company participates in relatively large real estate transactions on a monthly basis. The company remains current with the market in every aspect. Lone Oak Ranch Services
Lone Oak Ranch Services is a ranch management company, focusing on the needs of absentee property owners and the large influx of urbanites moving into rural areas. We find that many rural property owners are unfamiliar with contemporary practices in dealing with livestock, wildlife, pasture management, hay production and the economics of each. Our ranch service experts capably evaluate the potential of our client's operation, and its current performance. True evaluation means considering both the good and the bad. We are aggressive in our pasture management responsibilities because we believe that nutrition is a vital and necessary element in any solid ranch program. We are rigid in the application of quality standards with livestock and wildlife. We evaluate and scrutinize because we know that excellence is possible. We report in writing and stand behind our recommendations. We are available on a 24/7 basis for consultation and support.
We know that, by our toil, we are giving more to the world than we are taking from it, which in itself is an honor that does not come to all men. We believe that when a man grows old, as some of us are, and begins to sum up his days, he should be able to stand tall and feel pride in the life he's lived.

Lone Oak Equipment Company
Lone Oak Equipment Company sells, rents and services all types of equipment used in rural development, construction, farming, ranching and transportation services. We are experts in selection of just the right equipment for a particular activity. We manufacture specialized equipment when it is not commercially available. There is enough equipment in the field to fill every show barn and showroom for miles around... but is it reliable... is it safe... is it economical... and is it the very best for the work at hand? Lone Oak Equipment Company has those answers and probably have a demonstration unit available for you to see and test operate at one of our ranches. Our own brand of LifeTime EquipmentTM is designed to perform and built to last. A five year limited warranty stands behind LifeTimeTM products sold by Lone Oak Equipment Company.
The right equipment for the job saves both time and money. Let us show you how to improve your operations by visiting one of our ranches, or scheduling one of our mobile demo units.

Lone Oak Feed Company
Lone Oak Feed Company emerged from a custom feed milling and mixing operation we put in place for our own needs. Friends and other breeders saw the results of our feeding program in looking at our cattle, and began asking if we would sell our feed products to them on a regular basis. Our feeds are designed to be supplemental to a good forage diet and are uniquely formulated for the season, the age and the activity of the animal, including the special needs of a new mother. Our products contain less dust and waste. They contain more protein and polyunsaturated fats. Our products are sold by the bag or in bulk. We have portable feeders available for volume users of our feed products.
Custom milling and quality throughout... there is no substitute.

At Lone Oak Ranch we do believe in the ranch, because it makes all of this possible.
Our website is a work in progress. We hope you enjoy your visit and that you stop back and visit us again soon as we continue to make available all that is Lone Oak Ranch!
